Synonymous of an extraordinary creative and entrepreneurial experience that combines history, tradition and the avant-garde, Seguso Vetri d’Arte on the occasion of the 16th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, Seguso Vetri d’Arte renews the support to La Biennale di Venezia and opens the doors of the furnace to Architects and Artists from all over the world to share the Seguso Experience.
With a sense of responsibility and with the awareness of being heirs of a secular tradition, the 23rd Seguso generation, is actually very sensitive to the territory and to institutions as La Biennale, that so much works/is engaged for Art and excellence. Thanks to the installation conceived by La Biennale di Venezia and using 300 Murano glass elements especially created for the facade of the Cinema Palace at the Lido, Seguso Vetri d’Arte marks once again its role in ambitious collaborations of “architectural design”, following the extraordinary scenery designed for the 74th Venice International Film Festival, in September 2017.
With the same spirit and engagement for Art of La Biennale, Seguso Vetri d’Arte has begun a project to share the majesty and beauty of Murano glass craftsmanship and its family tradition, looking to the future, the Seguso Experience. A multi-sensory journey in the furnace. A journey that Seguso created to trace an untold story that celebrates glass craftsmanship and the wonder of the elicit gestures of the glass masters; to witness step by step that the path of Murano glass has evolved but remained unchanged over the centuries; to welcome, inspire and arouse passion in their guests. Thanks to the Seguso Experience – now nominated in the “Design for Communication” selection of the prestigious Compasso d’Oro Award 2018 – Seguso Vetri d’Arte combines an entrepreneurial activity to a vision of cultural sharing and enrichment.
