Seguso Vetri d’Arte opens its showroom in the heart of Moscow, presenting its brand and products to the Russian market along the luxury Petrovskij Passaž street, alongside Chanel, Tiffany and Cartier boutiques.
The partnership between Seguso Vetri d’Arte and Russian entrepreneur Mikhail Kusnirovich is thus started. Kusnirovich is the majority shareholder of several important shopping centers in Moscow, in particular the world-known GUM in the historic Red Square, as well as founder and president of Bosco di Ciliegi, through which he oversees one of the largest multi-brand luxury retail chains in the country, including fashion, beauty, as well as restaurants throughout Russia.
His new ambitious project, called Bosco Casa, involves Seguso Vetri d’Arte as a reference partner for Murano glass lighting, furniture and custom made projects. On occasion of the Opening, a small furnace was set up inside Petrovskij Passaž, where a team of Seguso Vetri d’Arte masters blown Murano glass under the gaze of an enthusiastic audience, involving them in the creative breath.
Mikhail Kusnirovich, – since ever a great fan and promoter of Italian culture; among the many activities he has organized, is the tour of the Teatro alla Scala of Milan at the Bolshoi Theatre – owns and operates more than 100 stores in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara and Novosibirsk, including independent stores of exclusive fashion&luxury brands as MaxMara, Moschino, Etro, Alberta Ferretti, La Perla, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Antonio Marras, Kenzo, Pomellato, Iceberg, Scervino and Corneliani, Ermenegildo Zegna, R.E.D. Valentino and Kenzo, just to name a few.
Thanks to this important partnership, Seguso Vetri d’Arte will increasingly fascinate the Russian market with the extraordinary history and tradition of one of the oldest glass dynasties in the world, the beauty of Murano glass artworks created by Seguso Vetri d’Arte masters and the magic of Venice.
In Moscow, Seguso Vetri d’Arte has recently created bespoken Murano glass chandeliers and lamps for Bosco Cafe, a sophisticated multi-storey restaurant, located in the famous Red Square, right in front of the Kremlin Palace.
